In de theetuin in Balgoij val je van de ene in de andere verbazing. Alle kunst in deze tuin is gemaakt van oude 'rommel' of afgedankte spullen.
Er is een pad door de tuin met bordjes met wijsheden/quotes.
Sommige kunst opstellingen zijn direct te linken aan de quotes bij andere moet je er wat beter over nadenken.
Enkele voorbeelden:
Er is bijvoorbeeld een hele muur gebouwd van glazen flessen. Er zijn flessen bomen. Oud glazen serviesgoed is omgetoverd in bloemen.
Een oud bed waar een heg in groeide met de bedoeling dat je er op kon zitten of liggen. (door het hete weer is de heg helaas doodgegaan.)
Een enorme stapel afgedankte potten en pannen en andere spullen waar een bordje bij staat op ieder potje past een dekseltje.
Er is zo veel om te zien dat je het niet kunt opnoemen.

"Theetuin en Koffiehuis Balgoy 'De Holtsehoek' is een ideale plek om te pauzeren met een kopje koffie of thee en eventueel met een heerlijk stukje gebak. Er worden geen alcoholische dranken geserveerd. NB: Er is (nog) geen pinautomaat.
De eigenaren zijn de theetuin en het koffiehuis begonnen om ook anderen te laten genieten van hun mooie, avontuurlijke tuin aan de rand van Wijchen. Er is een heerlijk terras, maar er zijn ook zitjes tussen de fruitbomen in de fruitbomentuin. In het gemoedelijke koffiehuis is plaats voor gasten als het weer wat minder is.
Het is een plek waar mens, dier, natuur en ideeën elkaar in harmonie kunnen ontmoeten. Een plek van avontuur, bezinning en wijsheid. Door de fruitbomentuin loopt het pad der wijsheid waar de uil je begeleid om stapsgewijs wijzer en wijzer te worden. De tuin is in grote lijnen klaar, maar wordt op sommige plekken nog verder ontwikkeld.
Het terras is geschikt voor mindervaliden. De wc’s zijn gratis en altijd toegankelijk tijdens openingstijden. Heb je een elektrische fiets dan kan je die gerust even opladen. Net als je telefoon. Er is plaats om de auto te parkeren en ook een parkeerplek om de theetuin het start- en eindpunt van je fiets- of wandelroute te maken. Als je dit aan de eigenaren laat weten, dan wijzen ze je de parkeerplek en houden een oogje in het zeil terwijl jij geniet van de omgeving. Benieuwd? Kom snel langs!"

In the tea garden in Balgoij you will fall from one surprise to the next. All the art in this garden is made from old 'junk' or discarded items.
There is a path through the garden with signs with wisdom/quotes.
Some art constellations can be directly linked to the quotes, while others you have to think about it a bit more.
Some examples:
For example, an entire wall is built of glass bottles. There are bottled trees. Old glass crockery has been transformed into flowers.
An old bed in which a hedge grew with the intention that you could sit or lie on it. (Unfortunately, the hedge has died due to the hot weather.)
A huge pile of discarded pots and pans and other items with a sign on each pot has a lid.

The owners started the tea garden and coffee house to let others enjoy their beautiful, adventurous garden on the edge of Wijchen. There is a lovely terrace, but there are also seats between the fruit trees in the fruit tree garden. There is room for guests in the friendly coffee house when the weather is not so good.
It is a place where people, animals, nature and ideas can meet in harmony. A place of adventure, reflection and wisdom. The path of wisdom runs through the fruit tree garden where the owl guides you to become wiser and wiser step by step. The garden is broadly ready, but will be further developed in some places.
The terrace is suitable for disabled people. The toilets are free and always accessible during opening hours. If you have an electric bicycle, you can safely charge it. Just like your phone. There is room to park the car and also a parking space to make the tea garden the start and end point of your cycling or walking route.
