"This house was built in 1783 and is one of the first schools in Liempde. In the early seventeenth century, a small building near the Sint Janskapel still serves as a schoolroom. This school has only one classroom and is special because of the stone instead of mud walls. Yet the people of Liempden are not happy with the school. It is located outside the new village center and is becoming too small for the number of students. In 1832 the school moves to a house in the center of Liempde."
