The vintage scale calculates your weight and gives your fortune reading for a penny. Its body is made of metal painted with a cream-colored enamel with chrome trim. The cabinet tapers slightly from the shoulders down to its base.
The red graphics on the front, from top to bottom, include separate height and weight charts for men and women, "No Weight under 25 LBS Character Readings" then a circular, cast metal medallion centered on the front asks "In what month were you born?", under the medallion "Your Future ?" The Left side has "Your Wate and Fate" The top Cover reads, "Weight" and "Read your Fortune Here" in black script. Also on top are the penny receptacles, one for each of the twelve months. There is a spring-loaded brass plate on the base for the scale.
