Chris LittleCook's design is wrapped on the utility box at the southwest corner of Grand and 1st in Downtown Ponca City. It is one of several painted utility boxes (Outside the Box) designed to add some creativity to the downtown area. The north, east, and south sides of the utility box are painted with dancing buffaloes, and the west side has a map that shows points of interest and trail distances.

Chris works for the Ponca City Public Schools as the Indian Education Director & is a member of the Ponca Tribe. He also participates in his Ponca culture and is a member of the Ponca Hethuska. Chris's art depicts a Traditional Straight Dancer portrayed by a buffalo.
Ponca City Main Street hosted the Outside the Box art project with the goal of infusing art, color and creativity into our downtown landscape further enhancing our community's identity & vitality. This box was wrapped by local company, Legacy Signs.
