EN: This fountain is located next to Hauptstrasse in the center of Magden.
The stone trough is about four meters long and the fountain column is located on the eastern narrow side.
On the top the column has a stone urn. Above the faucet is the year 1856 and below it has a heart relief.
The fountain is still called "Alti Gass" after a popular name of the nearby side street, where it was located until the main street was extended in 2001.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht neben der Hauptstrasse im Zentrum von Magden.
Der Steintrog ist etwa vier Meter lang und die Brunnensäule befindet sich an der östlichen Schmalseite.
Auf der Spitze hat die Säule eine Steinurne. Über der Wasserleitung steht die Jahreszahl 1856 und darunter ein Herzrelief.
Der Brunnen heisst immer noch "Alti Gass" nach einem volkstümlichen Namen der nahem Seitenstrasse, wo er sich bis zum Ausbau der Hauptstrasse im Jahr 2001 befand.
