This old arch bridge is located just outside of rural Shiloh, Ontario on 6th Line. Built in 1919 by Charles Borromeo Mattaini the bridge is a Concrete Rainbow Through Arch bridge similar in style to the Caledonia Bridge (
visit link) and 8th Line bridge in Erin (
visit link) .
The bridge has one arch on each side of the road and is approximately 14.5 metres long. It crosses over the Speed River.
In 2022, the bridge has been closed to vehicle traffic as the concrete is pretty deteriorated.
