Anne's obituary: (visit link)

Anne Marie Kunstler Goldenberg, 100, died on December 7, 2018 in her home after a life filled with blessings, triumphs, joys and a few tragedies.
Her life had many stages-daughter, sister, wife, mother, OMA, and matriarch. During each stage, she touched many hearts/minds. She was a great listener and generously offered her advice. She was a role model and mentor to many people, always exemplifying graciousness, patience, hospitality, generosity, and gratitude.
Her funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel, located at 610 S. Duncan in Stillwater. Interment followed at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater.
Anne was born on February 5, 1918 to Moritz K?nstler and Julieanne (Cahn) Kunstler in Nuremburg, Middle Franconia, Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. She survived the Holocaust, although her parents and 32 relatives were killed in concentration camps. In spite of the terrifying conditions that surrounded her, she was an optimist and always tried “to look on the bright side.”
She married Theo Goldenberg on October 15, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, after meeting him on a blind date in NYC six weeks prior to their marriage. Theo worked at Katz Department Store for over 60 years, and they both ran a dairy which sold raw milk by the gallon on the back porch of their house.
Stillwater became her new home for the next 68 years.
Anne was a mother, homemaker, nurturer, but mostly, she was “OMA” to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Theo; and brother Peter Kunstler.
She is survived by one daughter Judy Ramsey (Jim) and one son Nate Goldenberg (Laurel); grandchildren Adam (Kristy), Ashley, and Abbi; great-grandchildren: Addison and Theo Goldenberg, Davin Reinke, and Brylie Fletemeyer; step-grandchildren Jay Ramsey (Terra) and Jenifer Perkins (Chris); step-great-children Kinley and Rainey Ramsey; Addison, Hayden and Linden Perkins; one nephew, Martin (Lisa) Kunstler, one niece, Julie Kunstler (Nati); special cousins Susan (Katz) Baum, Alan Katz (Karen). In Addition, there were many cousins. friends, and children across the world that held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her own family, she was abundantly blessed to adopt/love the Williams family-Sid, Annabelle, Jim, John (Peggy)-and, especially Anna Maria Williams Johnson, her husband Dr. Jon Johnson, their children Mariah (Andrew), Elizabeth, Jon Mark (Janice) plus Hannah, Eli, and Olivia.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Karman Legacy Hospice, P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, Ok 74076, The Holocaust Museum, or a charity of your choice.
