"1974 Erich Hofmann opens his first coin shop in Innsbruck's Universitätsstrasse.
In 1994 the first TIROLSTEIN branch was opened in Schwaz.
In the years that followed, branches were opened in Lech, St. Anton, Ischgl, Kitzbühel, Kufstein, Mayrhofen, Achenkirch and Tegernsee.
In 2003, the Kaiser Max house at Herzog Friedrich Strasse 23 in Innsbruck was acquired as the parent company.
In 2017, the Tirolstein shop and jewelery workshop moved to Kiebachgasse 12 and the Hofmann coin shop to Kiebachgasse 13."
