In front of a brick paved area on the grounds of Sphinx Temple Shrine is a sculpture of a stone sphinx set on a stone block base. The sculpture 4' long and 2' wide and painted gold. it is a replica if the famous sculpture found in Egypt. It has the body of a lion and the human head wearing a headdress of an Egyptian pharaoh.
