City of Round Rock"Veterans Park is a revitalized community park that encompasses 2.54 acres of land. The goal of Veterans Park is to pay tribute to the veterans in Central Texas with a newly constructed monument. The monument features six columns with plaques that honor all branches of U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines. Engraved bronze plaques, paid for by donors in dedication to loved ones who have served, recognize individual veterans. The other improvements include a new basketball shade structure, pavilion with fishing pier, and new restroom facility. Pathways have been reconstructed, along with an addition of playground entry ramps. New site amenities offer picnic tables, benches, grills, and a drinking fountain."
