The Root Beer Barrel - Douglas, Michigan - Ginormous Everyday Objects on Waymarking.com

The original Barrel was built in 1952 and was abandoned in 1975. The Barrel was refurbished and re-assembled in 2014. The Barrel is made of 125 wooden staves.
The unique Barrel hot dog stand serves up great hot dogs and root beer during the summer season. There are picnic tables around the Barrel to sit on and the beach on Lake Michigan is down the road.
