The fantastic Mullerthal Trail in the area called Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland leads through rocky areas with crevasses, caves and waterfalls. Here are many special rocks along the way. Much of the trail is through forest. Part of the hiking trail follows the river the Black Ernz, where you also pass the Schiessentümpel waterfall and the old stonebridge.
The hiking trail is uneven, very hilly and in several places close to the cliff sides. There are stairs in several places
In 2014, the Mullerthal Trail received the label "Leading Quality Trails - Best of Europe".
