Cuncheira beach is located in the town of Baiona, in the province of Pontevedra.

It is 50 meters long, and is located at the end of the rocky coast, on the Monterreal peninsula. Its sand is somewhat coarse, made up of unsedimented shells.

In ancient times, on the eve of the night of San Juan, the bath of the nine waves was celebrated, a rite related to fertility.

Once upon a time, there was a very famous and very effective spa made from seaweed.
