Located in the middle of Canova Drive in New Smyrna Beach, Florida is an out of place grave. This grave for Charles Dummett, who was killed in a hunting accident, is at this location due to his father burying him where he died. Today it is in the middle of a residential roadway.
A sleeping dog was placed on the grave a number of years later by a local garden club the maintains the site.
