Located in Orlando, Florida is Gatorland a wildlife park and zoo. Founded in 1949 by Owen Godwin this park is the oldest tourist attraction in continuous operation in the Orange County area. It was one of the first tourist attractions to be built in Florida.
Billed as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland features thousands of alligators (including rare leucistic alligators) and crocodiles, and many other animals.
There are several parking lots to accommodate tourists and visitors. The southern parking lot has two unusual speed limit signs located at each end. This sign is on the northern end of the parking lot facing Orange Blossom Trail and is near the corner of the building.
