NL Op de Oud-Milligenseweg tegenover de oude korenmolen de Hoop staat de brandweerkazerne van Garderen. De brandweer beschikt over twee wagens om allerhande branden te blussen en te reageren op andere calamiteiten.

Ons team bestaat uit 17 betrokken en enthousiaste brandweerlieden. Dag en nacht staan wij paraat voor uw veiligheid! 24 uur per dag tot uw dienst. Nagenoeg alle korpsleden zijn overdag werkzaam in en om Garderen, dit is nodig om een snelle uitruk te garanderen.

Hoe gaat een melding in z.n werk ? Als u een calamiteit meldt via 112 komt u binnen bij de alarmcentrale in Arnhem, de centralist zal als eerste vragen welke hulpdienst u nodig heeft, daarna wordt u doorverbonden met de desbetreffende hulpdienst. Deze centralist zal u als eerste vragen naar de woonplaats en het adres, zodra dit bekend is zal de centralist direct de alarmering uit laten gaan naar het betreffende korps, terwijl hij u nog verder uitvraagt naar informatie over het incident. Zo kan het voorkomen dat u nog aan de telefoon staat terwijl wij al voor de deur staan !!

ENG Garderen fire station is located on the Oud-Milligenseweg opposite the old corn mill De Hoop. The fire brigade has two vehicles to extinguish all kinds of fires and to respond to other calamities.

Our team consists of 17 committed and enthusiastic firefighters. Day and night we are ready for your safety! At your service 24 hours a day. Almost all corps members work in and around Garderen during the day, this is necessary to guarantee a quick turnout.

How does a notification work? If you report a calamity via 112, you will enter the emergency center in Arnhem, the operator will first ask which emergency service you need, after which you will be connected to the relevant emergency service. This operator will first ask you for the place of residence and the address, as soon as this is known, the operator will immediately send the alarm to the relevant police force, while he will ask you further information about the incident. So it may happen that you are still on the phone while we are already at the door!!
