This is a through truss bridge built by the Bureau of Public Roads. It is one of only five originally sited, riveted bridges of the Parker Truss type in the state. It crosses the Salt River at a point where the river flows through narrow cliffs. The bridge is anchored on both sides into concrete slabs. It is a single lane structure and still considered in satisfactory condition.
