Le monument aux morts du village de Calenzana est situé sur une grande place (la place du Monument aux morts !) en face de la mairie.
Il a été érigé pour commémorer le sacrifice des habitants du village tombés pour la France.
La colonne à 4 côtés est surmontée d'un "Poilu" portant le drapeau français.
La colonne est au centre d'un square délimité par des murets sculptés en ses angles de palmiers.
The monument to the dead of the village of Calenzana is located on a large square (the square of the Monument to the dead!) in front of the town hall.
It was erected to commemorate the sacrifice of the inhabitants of the village who fell for France.
The 4-sided column is surmounted by a "Poilu" bearing the French flag.
The column is in the center of a square delimited by low walls sculpted at its corners with palm trees.
