Calenzana est une commune d'environ 2 400 habitants située en Balagne, dans le Nord-Ouest de la Corse. Le village est l'un des plus grands de France en superficie.
La mairie (Casa Cumunale en corse) se situe sur une grande place rectangulaire centrée autour du monument aux morts. Le batiment est massif, très rectangulaire, sans cachet particulier. Lorsqu'on arrive à la mairie par les ruelles venant de l'Eglise Saint-Blaise, on se retrouve au niveau de la salle polyvalente. Au niveau de la place et du parking se situe l'entrée, en haut d'une volée d'escalier.
Sur son arrière, le bâtiment abrite aussi le bureau de poste du village.
Calenzana is a town of around 2,400 inhabitants located in Balagne, in the north-west of Corsica. The village is one of the largest in France in area.
The town hall (Casa Cumunale in Corsica) is located on a large rectangular square centered around the war memorial. The building is massive, very rectangular, without any particular cachet. When you arrive at the town hall by the alleys coming from the Saint-Blaise Church, you find yourself at the level of the multipurpose hall. At the level of the square and the car park is the entrance, at the top of a flight of stairs.
On its back, the building also houses the village post office.
