NL Op de Markt in Nieuwegein, tegenover City Plaza, zit een vestiging van de koffie-franchise Bagels & Beans. We zijn hier meestal druk aan het shoppen en nemen dan niet de rust om hier even neer te strijken. Toch maar eens even doen, want de koffie en broodjes hier zien er wel goed uit. Je kan trouwens vanuit hier goed de kinderen (en soms volwassenen) zien spelen met de plotseling opkomende fonteintjes…

Bagels & Beans is een eigentijds en onderscheidend bagel- en espressobarconcept dat een oase van rust, harmonie en menselijke aandacht brengt in onze drukke, technologisch hoogstaande, rusteloze en vaak onvoorspelbare tijd.

Begin 1996 openden we onze eerste vestiging aan de Ferdinand Bolstraat 70 in de Pijp, het ‘Quartier Latin’ van Amsterdam. Kleermaker Zekeriya Gu¨mu¨s maakte in het eerste jaar onze schortjes van een theedoeken-stof, die we kochten op de iconische Albert Cuypmarkt. De buurt bloeide steeds verder op tot de gezellige, ultrahippe wijk die we allemaal kennen en ondertussen is Bagels & Beans gegroeid door heel Nederland. Er is altijd wel een vestiging dichtbij.

ENG On the Markt in Nieuwegein, opposite City Plaza, is a branch of the coffee franchise Bagels & Beans. We are usually busy shopping here and then don't take the time to settle down here. Anyway, give it a try, because the coffee and sandwiches here look good. By the way, from here you can see the children (and sometimes adults) playing with the suddenly emerging fountains…

Bagels & Beans is a contemporary and distinctive bagel and espresso bar concept that brings an oasis of peace, harmony and human attention to our busy, technologically advanced, restless and often unpredictable time.

At the beginning of 1996 we opened our first branch at the Ferdinand Bolstraat 70 in De Pijp, the 'Quartier Latin' of Amsterdam. In the first year, tailor Zekeriya Gümüs made our aprons from a tea towel fabric, which we bought at the iconic Albert Cuyp market. The neighborhood blossomed into the cozy, ultra-hip neighborhood that we all know and in the meantime Bagels & Beans has grown throughout the Netherlands. There is always a branch close by.
