Michalská Street in Prague's Old Town connects the Coal Market and Hlavsova Street. It used to lead to the Old Town Square, but later it was built up with Richter houses. It was named after the Church of St. Michael the Archangel built in the second half of the 12th century.
The church was completed around the 1460s. It was closed down under Joseph II. Today it has been renovated and functions as a music club.
