This is wooden box, painted light brown and standing on an unfinished wooden post. It has real roof shingles on its mono pitched roof, and "Free Food Pantry" is painted in white at the top of the glass on the door. As identified on the door glass, this was the work of Ethan Augustin of Troop 424, who placed it here for his Eagle Scout project. It doesn't note the date, but Ethan was recognized at a Lake Dallas City Council meeting on October 14, 2021 for having attained the rank of Eagle on August 26 of the same year. The project was probably completed earlier in 2021.

The pantry has a large top shelf and the lower section is divided into two compartments. It is very well stocked, and you may visit at any time. Please be careful to not block access, as this is a busy neighborhood.
