Tried to find some more information on the Bologna cross. Other than that is very similar to the English / St George cross, I did not find a lot of information

"Bologna flag is a red cross in a white field. Bologna is known as "Bologna the fat" (Bologna la grassa) from a definition of Petrarca, for the pleasure of cooking that is sovereign between its citizen.
