The Church of Our Lady on the Square, also called the Church of Our Lady. Its construction was started by miners in the second half of the 14th century. After a lightning strike in 1470, the church burnt down and was only completed a few years later. Although the construction of the church was financed by the proceeds of several mines, its original financing is worth mentioning. There used to be a silver ore market next to the church. If any silver ore fell from the tables to the ground during the sale, the seller no longer had the right to collect or replace the ore for himself. All this ore, which fell from all the tables in the marketplace, was swept up under supervision after the end of the market and then sold. The proceeds were then used to finance the building of the church. Hence the name of the square and the street around it - Na Námeti. However, the postcard shows Brandl's Lane, whose name reminds us that the Baroque painter Petr Brandl is buried in the Church of Our Lady of Maric.
