De brug is samen met de sluis in 1927 aangelegd het geheel is enige jaren geleden gerestaureerd en aangepast aan de eisen van de tijd met behoud van het originele karakter.

The bridge was built together with the lock in 1927. The whole structure was restored a few years ago and adapted to modern requirements while retaining its original character.
