The flagpole has been torn down, but the Keystone shaped plaque remains, mounted to a concrete pad. The plaque is located at what used to be a scenic overlook. Along with the flagpole the lookout tower has been razed too. The plaque reads: " 1849 - 1949 This Flag Pole Erected In Commemoration Altoona Centennial August - 1949 Altitude 2580 Feet"
