The postcard No.1
Lithographic postcard of Hrádek, where a teachers' institute was established in 1870. It was published by Švarc in Kutná Hora on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its foundation, based on a design by the painter Prof. Zdenek Louda.
At the turn of the 13th and 14th century, Hrádek was already a fortress, which was part of the town fortifications. The first written mention of it dates back to 1312.


The postcard No. 2
The colour postcard "Kutná Hora: Hrádek Jana Smíšek z VrchoviSt", which went through the post on 28 June 1914, the day of the Sarajevo assassination of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, Franz Ferdinand the Great and his wife, was published by Rudolf Holan in Kutná Hora. A monument to the victims of the First World War was unveiled on the wall in front of the Castle in 1934. War in the form of a bronze statue of a falling soldier.
