"Building and structure Religious Building Temple Chapel / Ermida
Description
Rectangular floor plan, with a single nave and chancel on the inside, with a simple mass with a gabled roof. Whitewashed and plastered facades, the main one presenting the structural elements and modinatures in granite stonework. Main facade facing S., with basement, framed by a pillared corner at the angle with the lateral facade to the west and by a pilaster on the opposite side, both on projecting plinths. Finish formed by a platband interrupted by a protruding triangular pediment, with a cartouche with an eight-pointed flower on the tympanum, topped by a cornice raised in the center and flanked by volutes. Urns are placed on the sides and a bell tower in granite stonework topped by a triangular pediment with a geometric motif on the tympanum, elevated by a Latin cross. It is vented in a full arch, with the closing stone marking. At the back of it, a small rectangular body is developed, painted red, with a gable roof covering, corresponding to the access area. In the axis of the façade, a portal topped by a stained glass window is torn, both in a lowered arch topped by a cornice, with the apron window. O. blind side facade topped by eaves. INTERIOR *1 with walls plastered and painted in white. Nave with barrel vaulted ceiling, covered in stucco. On the wall on the Epistle side there is a pulpit. Main chapel with skylight on the roof. On the front wall there is an altarpiece in carved white painted with decorative elements marked in gold. The portal is topped by a stained glass window, both in a low arch topped by a cornice, with an apron window. O. blind side facade topped by eaves. INTERIOR *1 with walls plastered and painted in white. Nave with barrel vaulted ceiling, covered in stucco. On the wall on the Epistle side there is a pulpit. Main chapel with skylight on the roof.
