A ten-foot-wide compass rose made of inlaid tiles is tucked under the high-ceiling portico at 3 Dots, a creative cultural center in State College, Pennsylvania. The terrace is the organization's main entry at the corner of East Beaver Avenue and South Pugh Street.

The ten-foot diameter symbol points to the four cardinal directions with only North marked by an "N". Light brown, square tiles form a circle surrounding a terracotta-colored tile cross, its arms tapering to blunt points. The "N" is made of smaller, square terracotta-colored tiles and is inlaid outside the ring.

From the organization's website: "3 Dots is a vibrant downtown space that hosts artistic and innovative experiences."
