Point Leamington's town park is west of the Mill River, south of route 350 (Main Street or Botwood Highway). The town park should be easy to find. It includes a heritage centre, snack kitchen, war memorial, bathrooms, trailhead and parking lot.
The Province of Newfoundland & Labrador placed this horizontal control marker in 1976. It is a brass plug, flush in the bedrock immediately south of the gazebo.
I expected to find this marker included in the on-line NL Geodetic Network database. This marker is not included.
