DE: Der Verein "Eisenbahn und Modellbaufreunde Brühl" wurde im November 1982 gegründet. Zuerst orientierte man sich an Modellen der Größe 1:87 und dem Detailgetreuen Nachbau des Brühler Bahnhofs, nach 1990 wurden erste Gartenmodelle für 5 Zoll Spurbreite gefertigt. 1994 stiftete die Stadt Brühl ein Gelände von knapp 4500m² in der Nähe des Tanzsportzentrums an der Bonnstraße 200, auf dem der Verein eine kombinierte Gleisanlage für 5 Zoll und 7.25 Zoll errichtete.
Seit 1995 finden jährlich zu Pfingsten öffentliche Fahrtage statt, bei der die Züge, die meist mit Dampf angetrieben werden, der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert werden - hier dürfen dann auch Züge anderer Vereine zum Einsatz kommen. Zudem veranstaltet der Verein an zwei bis drei weiteren Wochenenden im Jahr einen weiteren Fahrtag - die Termine werden am Jahresanfang auf der Internetpräsenz des Vereins (https://www.emb-bruehl.com/termine/) bekannt gegeben. Die Kosten für die Fahrt auf der kleinen Anlage betragen dabei 0.50 Euro.

EN: The association "Eisenbahn und Modellbaufreunde Brühl" was founded in November 1982. At first the focus was on 1:87 scale models and the detailed replica of the Brühl train station, after 1990 the first garden models for 5-inch gauges were produced. In 1994, the city of Brühl donated an area of ??almost 4500m² near the dance sports center at Bonnstraße 200, on which the association built a combined track system for 5 inches and 7.25 inches.
Since 1995, public driving days have been held annually at Pentecost, where the trains, which are mostly powered by steam, are presented to the public - trains from other clubs can also be used here.
