Pringle Cottage is a two storeyed sandstone building built by a local stonemason, John McCulloch as his own residence c1870. The facade of the cottagehs an ogee or double curved corrugated iron verandah, supported on chamfered timber posts. A centrally located half glazed entrance door is flanked by two pane vertical sash window . Stone chimneys extend from the apex of the stone capped gable ends.
The cottage was renamed after a private school run by a Mrs FS Pringle and her daughter, Miss FHM Pringle in the upper floor of the cottage from 1898 until at least 1905,
