The village of Longforgan lies in the Carse of Gowrie between the Scottish cities of Dundee and Perth and is by-passed to the north by the A90 dual-carriageway. Its post office lies within the Village Shop, a white-washed building on the north side of the Main Street opposite the parish church, and the main grocery and newsagents store in the village.

Opening times: Monday to Saturday 7.00am-5.30pm. Sunday 7.00am-2.30pm.
