The North Canton Community United Methodist Church was built in 1871. A set of steps leads up to the front of the church which has covered entrances on the north and south sides and a 3 by 6 triple hung window in the center. At the apex of the gable rood is a slightly projecting tower with a pair of louvered windows with pointed tops on the lowest level, a belfry with double louvered window at the second level, a truncated pyramidal roof and a tall pyramidal spire.
The sides of the church are four bays wide. Each bay has a window that marches the window on the front but with a triangular tops. Attached to the back of the church is a complex of buildings that extends to the north and east.
