A painting by the south door of St John the Baptist's church, Biddisham, with a dove of peace.

The painting dated 2020 shows a tree bearing fruit (apples) each of which contain a religious symbol. i.e.
- Chi Rho, ☧: one of the earliest forms of Christogram, formed by superimposing the first two (capital) letters—chi and rho (𝚾 𝚸)—of the Greek word 𝚾𝚸ΙΣΤΟΣ (Christos) in such a way that the vertical stroke of the rho intersects the center of the chi. (visit link)
- Alpha and Omega: Alpha (Α or α) and omega (Ω or ω) are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, and a title of Christ and God in the Book of Revelation. This pair of letters is used as a Christian symbol, and is often combined with the Cross, Chi-rho, or other Christian symbols. (visit link)
- The lamb of God: Agnus Dei, Ecclesiastical Latin; is a title for Jesus that appears in the Gospel of John. It appears at John 1:29, where John the Baptist sees Jesus and exclaims, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." It appears again in John 1:36. (visit link)
- The ichthys or ichthus: from the Greek ikhthu´s is a symbol consisting of two intersecting arcs, the ends of the right side extending beyond the meeting point so as to resemble the profile of a fish. It has been speculated that the symbol has been adopted by early Christians as a secret symbol; a shibboleth to determine if another was indeed Christian. It is now known colloquially as the "sign of the fish" or the "Jesus fish". (visit link)
