"Fokker 100 at Schiphol open to visitors
On 1 June 2011, a Fokker 100 was officially opened to the public on the Panorama Terrace of Schiphol by Messrs. Pieter Elbers, Chief Operating Officer of KLM and Jos Nijhuis, President and CEO of Schiphol Group.
A welcoming and informative visit
The KLM Cityhopper Fokker 100 has been converted in collaboration with partners into a true aviation experience for all visitors to the Panorama Terrace. Schiphol wants to surprise its visitors with this and offer a look behind the scenes in the history of aviation. On the plane, visitors can view the cockpit, hear messages from the control tower, take a seat in the original passenger seats, take a look at the baggage hold and learn more about the history of Fokker. There are airplane facts and aviation riddles to solve especially for children. Access to the device is free."
