This Sequoia is native to the Sierra Nevada, it has a circumference of 31.4 m and a height of 83.7 m.

It resists well to the French climate of Normandy, it tolerates the moderately calcareous soils of the botanical garden, on the other hand its rooting is superficial, so it is always watched during storms.

Ce Séquoia est originaire de la Sierra Nevada, il a une circonférence de 31.4 m et une hauteur de 83.7 m.

Il résiste bien au climat français de Normandie, il tolère les sols modérement calcaires du jardin des plantes, par contre son enraciment est superficiel, donc il est toujours surveillé lors des tempêtes.
