The Terrils du pays à part are special because they are twin slag heaps. From the top of their 180 meters, they offer a breathtaking view of the landscapes of Artois and the chain of slag heaps. They have many plant and animal species.
389 steps have been set up to provide safe access to the summit and the belvedere. Enjoy the view that stretches to the mountains of Flanders on a clear day.
3 hiking trails are located at the foot of the slag heaps:
- the valley trail (1.9 km)
- the chamois trail (11 km)
- the Corniche trail (2.6 km)
The site is managed by Eden 62, which works to maintain the diversity of environments and species. Please respect the facilities. You can walk with your dog on a leash. 2 wheels and motorized vehicles are prohibited.
