Until recently, this place was known as the Constance/Buckham's Bay Community Centre. The oldest section of the community centre building dates back to the 1980s, after nearby Fred Baldwin’s casino was demolished. In addition to the main banquet hall and smaller rooms, the community centre is home to the Constance Bay branch of the Ottawa Public Library service. There is a fitness room on the second storey of the building.
Located in the middle of the Torbolton Forest, the community centre is immediately surrounded by play structures, two baseball diamonds, a skateboard park, an outdoor rink and two soccer fields.
