This pair of dedicated benches are located on the McCormack Trail in the Dundas Conservation Area, in Hamilton, Ontario. The benches are both dedicated to Bruce W. Duncan, who was considered a true conservationist.

Bruce was known for his hawk-watching and banding. In fact, he got married at Hawk Cliff, where he often hawk-watched. He was also the President of the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club and the Ontario Bird Banding Association.

Sadly he passed away in 2006 at the age of 60 in a traffic accident caused by another driver.

Bruce W. Duncan also has a memorial trail named after him north of Dundas. (visit link)
