The bust of Buffalo Bill Cody was placed in the Nebraska State Capitol building Great Hall June 12, 1969. He is a member of the Nebraska Hall of Fame due to his Buffalo Bill's Wild West show that was founded in North Platte, Nebraska in 1883. The Great Hall is on the second floor of the Capitol building. Free guided tours of the Capitol are given according to the schedule
