Stone pulpit in St Nicholas' church, Corfe.

St Nicholas’ is an 1842 rebuilding of a Norman church by B. Ferrey. In 1858 the south aisle was added and the tower rebuilt by C. E. Giles. The chancel was restored in 1969. The church is constructed of squared & coursed blue lias, consisting of a 4-bay nave and south aisle, chancel and west tower. The nave arcade is neo-Romanesque.

The carving on the pulpit follows the Norman theme of the church. A similar interlacing arch design on the panels. The molding along the top of the pulpit has a chevron and scallop design.
