Carl Lindsten was born December 29, 1850 in Urshult, Småland. He married Sigfrida Lomell in 1891 and they moved to Unnaryd.
Carl was a vicor in Unnarud from 1906 - 1923.
He's most famous for the rune stone that was walled in on each side of the entrance door in the old church and was also walled in the new church but in the walls. The one that is now preserved was discovered by vicar Carl Lindsten. It was like a window sill in the window by the pulpit.
