Hillside Presbyterian Church is located on the corner of North High and West Main Streets in Greenville, Pennsylvania. The congregation was founded in 1801 and led by pastor Rev. Daniel McLean for forty years. The first church building was a log structure built in 1802. Construction on the present church was begun in 1867, the total cost adding up to $20,000. Originally called United Presbyterian Church, it was later renamed Hillside United Presbyterian Church, and finally just Hillside Presbyterian Church. The congregation is still active, with one Sunday worship service.
