The sign says "Blue Grove" but the name of the settlement to the north of here is "Bluegrove". It also notes that they meet on the first Monday of the month: The MasonPost site (see below) indicates that meetings are at 7:30 PM, with a meal at 6:30 PM. Order of the Eastern Star #978 also meets here on the fourth Monday of the month.
While the physical address is listed as "Henrietta", eighteen miles north, obviously, the lodge is tied to Bluegrove, about ten miles northwest, and Joy, which has seen its best days, is but two miles away. The latter two are quiet communities today.
The Lodge is a modern building, but oddly, the detached cornerstone lists both "1974" and "1988". There are multiple hits on this lodge in a web search, including a 1915 reference to an affiliation with the Grand Lodge of Colorado, so they were certainly established well before 1974.
