Founded by the Keahey family and related immigrants from Scotland, the adjacent Union Presbyterian Church established this cemetery before the Civil War. The Presbytery of South Alabama, a District Governing Body of the Presbyterian Church (USA),cares for the cemetery.Generous contributions by the George P.and Margaret C.Keahey families over the years helped make these arrangements possible.
