The single-lane Wooden Plank Bridge is about 40 metres long, with just a short length of bitumen on the approaches from the otherwise dirt road. It is a simple two-span, wooden beam bridge, with four hardwood posts supporting the middle of the wooden pole base and wooden plank deck. There are wooden based abutments at either end. There is only local rural traffic on it. Only hardwood edging of about 15cm high is there to help keep vehicles from swerving off the side. [Over the recent years, since Covid-19, I have been over it a couple of times, while hoping to walk out on a very overgrown track at the end of Kennedy's Gap Road, to Brearick Trig, but so far I haven't made it that far.]
