The Logan County / Paris Coal Miners Memorial hosts many exhibits in honor of the miners and to show the history of coal mining in the area. A centerpiece of the memorial is a life-size statue of a coal miner, complete with helmet light and shovel. A plaque at the base of the statue indicates that it was set in memory of Elbert Thomas and Frank Koprovic.
