Biedermeier tafel met een groot aantal boeken, die handelen over de geschiedenis van Maaseik en meer in het bijzonder over de architectuur. De voorpagina’s van verschillende boeken beelden een detail of een gevel uit. Sommige boeken zijn door ouderdom dichtgeroest en kunnen niet meer open. Andere liggen open op een markante bladzijde. Nog andere kunnen dan weer geopend worden. De toelichtingen zijn ook in braille. Middenop is een hoge stapel boeken waarop een 'Bokkenrijder met een gulle lach' en een rugzak met daarin een 'eikedröpke'.

Biedermeier table with a large number of books dealing with the history of Maaseik and more specifically about the architecture. The front pages of various books depict a detail or a facade. Some books have rusted shut due to age and can no longer be opened. Others are open on a prominent page. Still others can then be opened again. The explanations are also in Braille. In the center is a high stack of books on which a 'Buckrider with a Generous Smile' and a backpack containing an 'Eikedröpke'.

Table Biedermeier avec un grand nombre de livres traitant de l'histoire de Maaseik et plus particulièrement de l'architecture. Les premières pages de divers livres représentent un détail ou une façade. Certains livres sont rouillés à cause de l'âge et ne peuvent plus être ouverts. D'autres sont ouverts sur une page proéminente. D'autres encore peuvent alors être rouvertes. Les explications sont également en braille. Au centre se trouve une haute pile de livres sur lesquels un 'Buckrider avec un sourire généreux' et un sac à dos contenant un 'Eikedröpke'.
