This veterans memorial is at the northeast corner of W. J. Freeman Park. There are two monuments here set in honor of two who were awarded the Medal of Honor. The plaza is paved with engraved bricks leading to the monument and flagpoles.

Description of Memorial: The memorial is laid out on a circular plaza. Red engraved bricks form a star. Three monuments are in the center of the memorial - a central monument with the text above and two smaller monuments, each dedicated to a recipient of the Medal of Honor. Seven flagpoles fly the US Flag, the Tennessee Flag, and the flags of the Five Armed Services.
